Enertiv was founded in 2011 with a practical belief: better building data could make real estate more efficient, more profitable, and more sustainable.
We started by building and installing hardware that brought visibility into the systems and equipment running inside buildings. That field experience shaped the company we became.
With the help of loyal customers and partners, Enertiv expanded from equipment-level visibility into a broader operations platform for reporting, utility data capture, decarbonization, energy optimization, tenant utility billing, and maintenance.
A good part of our history has been spent inside mechanical rooms, understanding how buildings actually operate. Every asset comes with its own constraints, systems, and quirks, and effective solutions need to reflect that.
But understanding the complexity isn't enough. For anything to move forward, it needs to create asset value and improve NOI.
We believe sustainability and NOI are not separate conversations. They are fundamentally the same one.
